JTI
- Jungian Type Index JTI ® is a development tool that takes the
starting point
in Jung's
Typology. JTI is a non-evaluative psychological tool, ie.
it says something about how people can be different without any sort
of "good" or "less good".
JTI is built on the Swiss psychologist CG Jung learn about
psychological types developed by the Occupational psychologists
Ringstad and Ødegaard from Norway.
JTI is simple to use and easy to understand. It makes it possible to
say something about what is typical for a person, ie. what is
natural for a person to do (personal preferences) in a given
situation without that person necessarily have to act this whole
time.
JTI is useful in many contexts. It may help us to understand the
similarities and differences between ourselves and other people, why
we prefer a job and working methods rather than others, and we soon
"takes the tone" with some people, while we may see others as more
difficult to communicate with.
